When I first started Ensign College I was very lost and confused. I didn’t really know anyone and it was hard. Now in my third week with Ensign College and I started working with tutors I feel a little comfortable to have people to talk to and ask questions. I have Juan and Yuki to ask and they are very kind and understanding. Yesterday I talked to Noe and he was very friendly. He told me that he is studying to be a radiologist. He shared his purpose and desire of why he wanted to pursue that career. In the tutoring center I am free to bring food and snacks there. It is almost like my own house. I feel like home. I feel so much appreciation for this place. It is a very safe place for me.
Tutors
The tutors helped me even though it’s not their major they would learn and understand so they can assist me with my homework. This would help me learn different skills in using and navigating the computer. They also tutor other subjects and majors. They have a variety of skills that can help more than just one major skill.
Advisor
I met up with some advisors who helped me to calm down and advise me that everything is going to be ok. We together looked at my schedules and my classes and advised me of how to get those classes up to date with my homeworks. They point out some ways such as using the tutor center, other students and the library to help me with my school work. They helped me to find different ways that are easy to help me do my homework and follow the teachers outlined homework
